Healthy granola, made with rolled oats, chopped nuts and seeds. Delicious for breakfast.


(serves 6-8)
3 cups of raw rolled oats
1 cup of chopped mixed nuts
1 cup of sunflower seeds
1/2 cup of dried mixed fruit
1-3 tablespoons raw honey (honey is fine)
1 tablespoons of coconut oil
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 pinch of fine sea salt

How to cook

Heat the oven to 280C /gas 7. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and use your hands to mix well. It will get a bit sticky, but make sure it’s mixed well. Spread the mixture onto a baking tray in a thinish layer and bake for 10-15 minutes, until lightly toasted throughout. Cool before storing or using. To serve either pour over some fresh milk or serve with fresh natural yoghurt. Add maple syrup or chopped cherries to add a twist.

The granola can be stored in an air tight container or mason jar for up to 3 weeks.
