Healthy flapjacks without added sugar

The perfect snack to to keep you on track! Ideal for breakfast on the go, or a post gym snack. Packed with powerful oats and natural sugar via the honey.

Ingredients

100g jumbo oats
100g honey
100g pistachios roughly chopped
2 tbsp coconut oil
1 tsp flaxseeds
50g medjol dates roughly chopped
20g golden raisins

how to make it

Preheat your oven to 180°c/gas 4. Line a rectangular baking tray with greaseproof paper.

 Place the oats, honey, flaxseed, pistachios and chopped dates in to a large bowl and mix.

Melt the coconut oil and add to the mixture. Add the raisins and stir. Place the mixture on the baking tray and flatten with the back of a spoon. Cover the mixture with some baking paper and place another baking tray on top, then gently push down to completely flatten the mixture. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes.

 Remove from the oven and allow to cool. Now slice them into 12 small bars and serve. These will keep in an airtight jar for 10 days.
