Adopting a raw food diet

Adopting a raw food diet. There’s confusion, interest and mysticism about high raw diets. I say high raw because it isn’t written anywhere that you must be 100% raw, 100% of the time.

George Orwell said “every man had the face he deserves” I say every person has the body they deserve because we know that 99% of what we end up with is a reflection of our environment and only 1% genetic.

Whether you’re choosing to transition from a standard American diet(SAD) to a vegetarian, vegan or raw diet, only you can determine what you put into your mouth. Supermarkets and food manufactures will always be there to tempt you with their for profit only items, but only you can choose whether or not to succumb.

To demystify the raw diet in its simplest terms, these are the food categories to eat;
• Seeds
• Nuts
• Herbs
• Algae’s
• Fruits
• Vegetables

Within those categories there are hundreds of real food choices. So what we eat far outweighs what we don’t eat. Note I don’t say ‘can’t’ eat because it’s not about deprivation; it’s about abundance and making positive healthy choices.

What are the health benefits of eating as Mother Nature intended? Thousands of testimonials credit a raw lifestyle with their recovery from:

Arthritis / Diabetes / Cancers / Colitis / Hepatitis / Gangrene Heavy metal poisoning / Tuberculosis / Peritonitis / Pyorrhoea Asthma / Sinus infections / PMS / Menstrual irregularities / Constipation / Headache / Eczema / Psoriasis / Halitosis / Acute anaemia / Varicose veins

The list goes on. A raw food diet does not cure disease; it simply provides a cleaner internal environment so the body can start to heal. Introducing a higher percentage of raw food into your diet is about taking back responsibility for your health, it’s about being proactive; it’s about preventing the cause of disease rather than curing a symptom.

Eating a high raw diet could help;

• Establish your idea body weight
• Alleviate pain
• Prevent / combat disease
• Increase energy
• Cleanse the body
• Improve digestion
• Recharge your immune system

Going high raw isn’t just another diet. This is the perfect diet to end all fashionable dieting once and for all.

“The quickest and easiest way to do this is one meal at a time. Simply swap breakfast for a smoothie. Add more salads to your remaining meals and start snacking on fruit then you’ll be on a healthier track”.
